Bookings and Payments Full payment is due at the time availability is confirmed (within 90 days of arrival date). Reservations must be made at least 7 days prior to arrival. Necessary documents will not be able to be processed and shipped in time for reservation requests made within 7 days of arrival. Reservations made online with Virtual Showcase Travel are secure. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt your credit card and other information ensuring safe and convenient transactions.

Proof Of Citizenship U.S. citizens will require proof of citizenship when traveling to Mexico and the Caribbean. Be sure to carry with you one of the following when you check-in at the airport:

A valid U.S. passport OR a original state-issued birth certificate with an affixed seal AND a valid government issued photo I.D. (i.e. valid driver's license, state I.D. card).

Canadian Citizens require either a valid passport OR a government issued birth certificate with an affixed seal supported by two other forms of identification (i.e. valid driver's license, social insurance card)

Non-US or Canadian citizens should ask their travel consulate what specific requirements apply to your nationality.

Please Note: Mexican law requires that children under 18 traveling to Mexico without both parents must have a notarized letter from the non-accompanying parent or parents stating that they have given consent for the child to leave the country. If one parent is deceased, a copy of the death certificate is necessary. We do not accept reservations for unaccomanied minors (under the age of 18) for any charter / land vacation package.

Amendments and Cancellations Should you wish to change any details of your booking, we will do our best to help. The following charges will apply if you make changes to departure date, duration, or class of service.

In the unlikely event that a major change (involving a change of hotel, departure or return date, departure city or destination) becomes necessary, we will notify you as soon as possible. If you find the revised arrangements we offer unacceptable, you will have the option of cancellation without charge (less insurance premium) provided that you notify us within seven days of your receipt of notice of the change, but not later than departure. In the event of a change, we will try to substitute comparable services, but in the event of complete cancellation by us our only liability will be to refund all monies paid. Special fetures offered by hotels are subject to change at the hotel's discretion.

Booking Confirmation Upon receipt of your payment we will e-mail you an invoice confirming the details of the booking. Your pre-paid vouchers, 'description of insurance coverage' brochure, and any other pertinent travel documents will be mailed to you up approximately 21 days prior to your departure date. Once your reservation is confirmed, all amendment and cancellation penalties as described above will apply.

Price Guarantee Our intention is to provide you with the vacation which you have selected at the price in effect at time of booking. If for any reason we have to increase the price of your vacation, we will offer you the option of cancellation without charge, provided that you advise us in writing within seven days of your receipt of notice of the increase.

Refunds Any refunds due to you will be made as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after receipt of written cancellation notice. Please note, however, that no refunds will be made for any services provided in the itinerary that you do not use. Insurance premiums are also non-refundable. Refunds for scheduled air programs will be issued upon the return of the unused ticket. Apple Vacations accepts bookings only through travel agents and all communications prior to your departure including payment and refund transactions, will be via your travel agent (Virtual-Showcase.com / Virtual Showcase Travel). If for any reason you should lose your scheduled airline ticket, you will have to purchase a new ticket at your own expense and upon your return home, you must contact your travel agent to begin procedures on completing a 'Lost Ticket Application.' Any refunds made by the airline will be based on the value of the original ticket issued. In most cases the replacement ticket you have to purchase will be more expensive.

Travel Insurance AV-'O.K.' Vacation Protection Includes:

(1) Apple's Best Price Guarantee - From time to time Apple will advertise a discount on the exact same vacation that you have booked (same date, flight, duration of stay, hotel, and room category), you can claim the savings prior to departure.

(2) Apple's Tour Guard Insurance Plan - Cancel or interrupt your Apple vacation due to a valid medical condition and your travel investment will be reimbursed.

Tour Guard Insurance Coverage - It happens, an emergency or sickness causes people to cancel thier vacations or interrupt their trip. Because these events can occur, we have arranged for a high quality, travel insurance plan offered by Trip Mate Insurance Agency that will protect your vacation investment, your belongings and most importantly you. This plan also covers you even if you must cancel or interrupt your trip due to a pre-existing medical condition provided you purchase the insurance no later than the day after you guarantee your trip and must not be disabledfrom travel at the time of your premium payment. You will receive a 'Description of Coverage' brochure with your travel documents, which provides complete details of the plan, including conditions, exclusions and limitations (these brochures are also available at any time from your agent). The Tour Guard Travel Insurance portion of 'AV-O.K.' may be added up to 21 days prior to departure (price remains $59 per person and pre-existing conditions are not covered). Plan Premiums are non-refundable and non-transferable.

(3) Apple's Pre-Departure Cancellation/Change Waiver - This plan allows for cancellation or change of your vacation up to the day prior to departure for ANY REASON not already detailed in the Tour Guard Travel Insurance Plan.

When a cancellation is made during the penalty period, your cancellation penalty will be refunded in Apple Vacation travel certificates, with the balance of the refund made in either cash or card credit. Apple Vacations travel certificates may be used like cash when purchasing an Apple vacation, are valid for one year, are non-refundable and non-transferable (issued only in the name of the passenger who cancelled) and may not be redeemed for cash. Amendment fees are covered under this waiver. This waiver does not cover cancellations or 'no shows' on the day of departure. Please note: If the number of individuals occupying a room decreases, the remaining travelers will be responsible for additional costs incurred as a result of a charge in the per person occupancy rate.

When you provide information to become a recipient the virtual-showcase.com Newsletter (or if you are already are a recipient) you agree to receive this communication. If, at some later time, you do not want to receive information about special offers, promotional information and product announcements, you may elect to not receive such communications from Virtual Showcase by forwarding the e-mail message you reveived to remove@annuit.com. We are not in a position to guarantee your safety against accidents, acts of God, theft, or even acts of negligence. All activities have inherent risks to health and safety and virtual-showcase.com will not be responsible for any eventualities related to services booked through this site.
